JuJu Jellies

I finally have a pair of jelly shoes! and not just any jelly shoes, but JuJu Jellies. Handmade, recyclable, pretty, and super comfy, these jelly shoes are made of a soft plastic, nice and flexible.
I used to have these shoes when I was small, and I remember wearing them with cute dresses, dungarees or my tutu haha. I had a transparent pair with glitter, the most famous design of jelly shoes. But JuJu shoes are original from England, more specifically from Northampton and they've been bringing us
these lovely and cute shoes since 1986.

Because it's still a bit cold, I haven't had the oportunity to wear them much, but I can say they are really comfy. I wear a UK 5 size (EU 38), I bought these size 5 and I even have quite a space in the front! So never buy a bigger size than you normally wear, buy just your size because you'll even have some space left. When you buy jelly shoes, always try and get a pair that is not too tight. I chose black because I can wear them with everything, but I also love the transparent with glittler or the pastel pink pair.

Jelly shoes are very light weight, very comfy to walk in and they have the right fit. They don't harm your feet and they don't boil them in summer (even though their made of plastic). I find them to be the best pair of sandals. I have lot's of trouble when finding shoes to wear, because my feet are very sensitive and get sore quickly, but because the plastic is soft and they are not to tight, my feet can breathe and be safe haha

I bought my JuJu Jellies at ASOS, but you can also find nice pairs at Topshop, Urban Outfiters,  American Appareal, Dolls Kill, Zalando or Nasty Gal. If you don't need them to be JuJu but just jelly shoes you can find lovely pairs at River Island or Missguided, or buy yourself a pair of Jellybeans, which are similar to JuJu but have a different design (and also sell rain coats!). I recomend them to be a very soft plastic so
they don't make your feet suffer and though I bought a black pair, buy nice and fun colours to wear! They always make an outfit more cheerful and outstanding.

Spring Wishlist

A quick-sticks view of my spring wishlist (or part of it). This season I'm going to try and not wear so much black, I'll maybe try to wear more pastels. For now, I'll show you my favorite items (mostly pink, 'cause yes, I like pink) so far..

I've fallen in love with this little perfect backpack from Fjall Raven.
They're all lovely, actually. I wouldn't mind having it in black or ox red...
and I'm really in the need of a backpack to carry all my art rubbish to varsity everyday.

These sunnies are gonna definitely gonna be mine soon haha

I'm terribly in love with The WhitePepper. It might be my favorite brand ever. Pitty I'm not rich...I would buy the whole store haha The pink floral top is just so perfect to me, and the pink beehive sweater is lovely and cozy. They have really nice colours at TWP, and very simple but femenine clothing.

These jelly shoes remind me of my childhood, when I wore them with cute dresses or dungarees.

I'm really hoping to get this fragrance soon. It's not too expensive and it smells divine!
Very nice, subtle and refreshing for spring and summer.

And these gorgeous shoes from Mango. I prefer them in black, but this season they came in white.
Still, I wouldn't mind having them.

Japanese treats

Some days ago I ordered a little package of japanese treats I was really wishing to try since a long time ago,
so I finally got them! I bought: Hello Panda biscuits with milk flavour filling which weren't that bad, but in my opinion, a bit boring, next time I'll order the strawberry or chocolate ones; strawberry Pocky and also choco-banana flavour Pocky which are my favorite ones! I enjoyed them a lot, even more than the strawberry ones, pitty it was a pocket pocky ( It's smaller than the normal packet); a teeny-weeny strawberry kit kat which was AMAZING, so yummy! I't had a really strong and nice strawberry flavour; and finally my all time love Cream Soda, I usually drink Sparletta (from Coca Cola company) but this time I wanted to try Schweppes Cream Soda and I must say it was delicious! It tasted of ice cream even more than Sparletta! really nice! I bought everything in the same shop: JaponShop.com

M.A.C cosmetics - Creme Cup

This lovely pink lipstick from Mac cosmetics is a cremesheen, which has a creamy formula and makes it easy to apply. I usually don't wear pink lipstick; maybe they're too "preppy" for me...Still, after seeing some really good reviews on this lipstick I thought I'd give it a try. It actually is an anniversary gift from my lovely boyfriend, so thank you a lot!

I find it a very sweet colour, a pastel pink that I can wear every day unlike my other pink Mac lipstick, Chatterbox, which is a stronger kind of pink and which I find more of a summer time colour. Now, let's talk about Creme Cup: lovely formula, soft and creamy, lovely pink with warm undertones and some shine. I't doesn't smudge around the edges, also because it's a pale colour. Very flattering for all skin types, it doesn't dry my lips and it stays pretty well. So I would give it a 5/5, I really like this pink babe!

Yankee Candles

I was very interested in getting some of these candles for myself. They're a famous because of their smells and because they are handmade, so I thought I'd give them a try. Because I can't get them in my city, I had to look for them online, but I found a lovely shop with great prices and lots of different Yankee Candles, liquid scents, incense...At the end I decided to buy 2 votive candles and 3 tarts, just to try them out. I chose "Fresch Cut Roses", "Summer Scoop", "Vanilla Cupcake", "Midnight Jasmine" (which I gave as a present to my bestfriend) and "Sweet Strawberry". I must say they all smell like heaven! I opened the "Sweet Strawberry" tart and it made my hands smell of strawberries through a whole hour, at the end I decided to put it in my drawer to keep my t-shirts smelling of strawberries. The votive candles are more like a sample, a small candle which smells really well when you hold it close but doesn't smell very much when it burns, still they are lovely, I think if they were a bigger size they would smell much more (of course you can find bigger sizes).

The tarts are smaller and are NOT candles, but wax melts, which makes them smell a looooot more when they burn. Im sure I will buy many more in the future. The great thing about Yankee Candles is that you can find candles that smell like strawberries, mango, cakes, but also as clean cotton, beach walk, fluffy towels, riding mower.....I find it quite amusing haha I might try them out too.
