Cute Accesories Haul

So here's a haul of what I bought at Portobello Road vintage store. I wrote about this store in my last post and now I'm going to show you what lovely things I bought that day. I still want to go back and buy more pretty stuff for me and presents for my friends.

When I was little I always wanted to be a fairy, I'd wear my pink tutu, my fairy wings and my red rain boots (yeah, a complete fashion icon at my age). I loved fairies at that time...and somehow when I saw this gorgeous pink flower crown I had to buy it. Lately I've had something for pink, specialy pastel pink, and I have some lovely ideas of how and what to wear this flower crown with. It's perfect to wear in summer or spring, so when I'm back home I'll definitely wear it as much as possible. The price was really good and they had the same flower crown style in various colours. The crowns fit perfectly and you can get them of any kind and colour. I'd love to find shops like this in my city but....no luck.

I also found some lovely pins to wear on my denim jackets, jeans and my pinafore. I bought this lovely rocking horse in white and a cute bunny rabbit in pastel pink. They also had wolves, squirrels, does and deers, in pink, white and black. These I bought will make the perfect accesory!

Vintage Portobello

This week I went with my mom and sister to the cutest vintage/ coffee shop ever! It was love at first sight, seriously. This gorgeous shop located in Kenilworth's Main Road (Cape Town) is called Portobello Road. Half vintage fashion shop, half coffee shop is full with lovely items and decoration. The walls are painted in pastel colours and decorated with pretty floral fabrics. Everything is very girly and sweet, just how I like it!

Clothes and accesories are sold at a reasonable price, which is difficult to find in South Africa because everything related to fashion, or just nice clothes or brands, are expensive. They've got a big range of vintage jerseys, cardis and jackets; for girls and boys. If you're looking for shoes, you'll find more heels than any other thing, they've also got some sneakers or boots, but mainly they sell vintage heels. They also sell some new or handmade items like beanies, dresses and tee's. The accesories are just...jaw-dropping; from laser cut wood charms, to midi rings, normal rings, earrings, sunglasses, flower crowns...the variety is soo big and everything is soooo lovely you just can't pick anything thinking you might like something else better! The whole shop is insanely cute. The nicest things to me were the flower crowns, you could find headbands with big dasies or roses, there were also ones with little roses in colours like pink, burgundy, white, lilac...they have the best selection of flower crowns I've seen. I would really encourage you to visit this heavenly store if you live in Cape Town or if you are visiting the city. If I'd had more money I would of bought more things (I'll show you what I purchased on another post soon). I still haven't tried they're coffee shop section, but I've been told they serve the best capuccino ever, they also had an amazing looking chocolate cheesecake!

'Till nex time, loves ;)

Lush Time

I am a big fan of Lush cosmetics and It's not my first time trying out Lush cosmetics products, but it is my first time trying out their bubble bars and ballistics. Since I don't have a bath tub at home and plus that there's no Lush in my city....It's kinda difficult to buy and try their stuff. But, now I'm in Cape Town for holidays and I'm staying at my mom's house, and it's great because she's got a nice bath tub were I can try all the Lush products I want. There are various Lush stores in Cape Town, I usually go to the one at Cavendish Square or the one at V&A Waterfront, and it seems like Lush stores in South Africa have the cheapest prices in the world! So I've been spending quite a lot of money on their products lately (totally worth it!). Here's some of the first bubble bars and ballistics I tried out.

Starting with Twilight ballistic. This one I wanted to try since a long time ago, I saw videos on youtube and IG but it's not even comparable to real life haha. The first thing that I loved about this product was the sweet scent, those cute stars and moon, also, it's pink! When you through it in the bath it's just wonderful, the water turns out to be like a twilight sky, going through all it's colours, from pink, to blue and then dark blue/ purple. And the best part, it leaves your skin soooo soft, smelling like heaven and it's got glitter!!!!

Amandopondo has now become one of my fave lush bubble bars, because I love the smell of roses, it leaves your skin soft and smooth and it makes tons of bubbles. It's got a dry rose in the middle, which floats in your bath and smells amazing even though it's so little. The smell is just orgasmic, I'm definitely making this bubble bar one of my all time favorites.

Space Girl, although mine didn't dye the water purple or orange/red but navy blue instead, it was still a nice experience. Simple, with a nice subtle fruity scent and glitter. This ballistic contains a small quantity of alcohol, as a curious fact and as every other bath product from Lush, it leaves your skin soft and healthy.

See you next time ;)
