Lime Crime -Poisonberry

When it comes to lipstick, I prefer wearing red or dark colours than light or soft ones, altough I have some pinks and oranges, for summer or spring. This lovely purple berry color lipstick I got some time ago from Lime Crime was the first lipstick I fell in love with from Lime Crime, I also loved Glamour101 and Airborne Unicorn, but this one was love at first sight. I also ordered their Carrousel Lip Gloss in Present at the same time I bought Poisonberry, the colors are similar and I thought they would look nice together, but it turned out that the Carrousel gloss was so good I didn't have to put any lipstick underneath.
Poisonberry is a gorgeous berry purple that actually has a two tone look, but at first, you may think it's a much darker color. The formula is soft and creamy, which makes it easy to apply (better with a brush). I find it smudges a bit if I wear it for a long time, so I use a lip primer and a lip pencil. I personally think Lime Crime has a really good color range, but their lipstick are not the best I've tried, not that their bad, they just haven't got an outstanding quality. Instead, I really liked their lip glosses and velvetines! So I would really recommend buying a Lime Crime lip gloss or velvetine before anything else, they're a must have!

Cotton flowers

I know these photos are horrible, but I am sooooo bad at posing, I don't feel confident in front of the camera, I'd rather be behind it. So let's not take note at my weird pose and faces...If you follow my blog or if you read it sometime now and then, you may have notice my obsession over The WhitePepper and their clothes. So, after wanting this crop top since spring, I finally managed to buy it! The WhitePepper is quite expensive, so at first, when they launched their spring collection I couldn't afford this top, but luckily I now and then have a look at their marketplace in ASOS (click here) and this time I hit the jackpot! Only one item left, in my size, half price and with no shipping costs. Seriously, after that day I spent all my luck for a month! So as soon as it was possible, I bought this amazing and long-wanted flower crop top from The WhitePepper. This is my second item from theirs and I love it, it's soft and lovely for hot weather. The only problem is that I have to wash it by hand, but still, it's the best! Also, the print and color...I love them.
For this outfit I paired my moto jeans from Topshop (very tight but still gorgeous) with my flower crop top, and my white converse. The fabric tote bag is from Typo and delicious tea from, of course, Arizona. Oh and in case you wonder what lipstick I am wearing it's Nyx cosmetics soft matte lip cream in Milan.

Inspiration: Wiissa

They say two brains work better than one, and you see the evidence when you come across photographers Vanessa Hollander's and Wilson Philippe's amazing work. This film and photography duo is based in LA and the've worked for magazines such as NYLON, Oyster Mag, Harper's Bazaar Spain, Zeum Mag and a long etcetera. Their work has a lot of the vibes from movies such as "The Virgin Suicides" or tv series like "Lizzie McGuire", some how this makes me go back to my teen years... Their photos show mostly teenagers in a "daily basis" with a 70's to 90's style, all this together makes me want to cry of happiness...I love this kind of photography and to find such inspirational work (after I found Zeum Mag) is great! I hope one day I became as good (or even better) as they are. I love pastels in photos, and to use analogic film and cameras instead of digital, unfortunately, photography film is quite expensive and I haven't learned yet to develop color film, but I know how to develop black and white film which is something...Still, after seeing all of Wiissa's work, I really want to take more photos and experiment with more analogic film. Click here to enter their wonderful site.

La Parada tapas bar.

It may sound weird, but if you ever visit Cape Town, you must definitely go to La Parada tapas bar in Bree Street. Located in the middle of town, with a very cool vibe and delicious spanish tapas, La Parada is one of the best places to eat spanish food in Cape Town, why? Because it has an amazing menu of typical spanish dishes and tapas made by spanish chefs, one of them is the famous chef, Andrés Conde, who previously worked in el Bulli. You can find dishes from different regions of Spain; from tortilla de patatas (spanish omelette), rabo de toro (ox tail), calamares con salsa verde (calamary with salsa verde), croquetas...plus a long list of other tapas and puddings like arroz con leche (rice pudding) or crema catalana (similar to crème brûlée), so with all this, you will definitely experience eating typical and delicious spanish food in such a far country as South Africa.
The time I had dinner at La Parada, we ordered quite a lot of food, but my favorite tapas were croquetas, rabo de toro, calamares con salsa verde, huevos estrellados, pulpo a la gallega and crema catalana. Just thinking about all these amazing tapas makes me drool, they were the best spanish tapas I've had in my life, and I live in Spain, so take that as a really good compliment. Prices are not bad either, considering the quality of the food is extremely good and the atmosphere is wonderful.
